Honestly, most days I just think. Like if I think hard enough I will figure it out. AND, if I can’t figure it out, I will do some research. And if I can’t determine a smidgen of an answer, I know one of my deeply religious friends or family members will pray for me. And if you were to ask me, how’s that working for you, I would say,…..depends. Depends on the weather, world events, public transportation, family, friends, day of the week, time of day, etc. etc. In moments of despair, I just say, “Okay Lord, you win. However, I am not letting go of science, history, and academia. Just because those folk spend so much time “working it out.” I like that. Truthfully, I think that you just can’t beat “Time.” The passage of it. Night, day, hours, seasons, and it’s okay to get mad at impact – so when I am looking like this. I am just freakin tired. And people, that is okay. Whether its God or science, whatever the ultimate answer is. Sometimes, it is really okay, to not be bothered.
